Both sides fielded a mixture of experience and raw talent, with newcomer Jack Snell shining for Leeds Cosmos to continue his good form, once again showing his exciting promise with some superbly placed power shots.
As the game entered the second period Galaxy started to dominate the match, with the combination of Elliot Loomes and Leigh Haw proving too strong for the Cosmos defence.
Cosmos did provide some resistance in the final period and started the comeback with some excellent defending from Ruth Brazier, but in the end it was Leeds Galaxy that romped home to a 10-point victory through the consistent point scoring of versatile left shooter Alex Clarke.
The next game in the Yorkshire regionals is between Headingley Outlaws and Leeds Galaxy on Friday, December 4. The match starts at 7.15pm at Leeds Beckett University, Green Hall. Entrance is free with spectators very welcome.
